The Boeing Freighter will be joining our fleet. The cargo demand which was previously carried by passenger airplanes will now be met by the 776. The managing director is Ladislaus Matindi. Air Tanzania will be able to support a journey towards a more sustainable future and time critical cargo schedules. We want to expand our imports and exports industry so that they can be delivered on time. The arrival of the airplane will allow global businesses to transport commercial cargo goods to different parts of the world, which will boost national economic growth.

Air Tanzania will be able to support time-critical cargo schedules across Africa and beyond due to the excellent fuel efficiency, operational flexibility and low noise levels of the 767-300 Freighter. The 767-300 Freighter is the ideal airplane for growing e- commerce and express cargo markets. This is Air Tanzania's first dedicated freighter as the country looks to expand imports and exports of goods that need to be delivered on time.

Anbessie Yitbarek, vice president, Africa Sales and Marketing, Boeing Commercial Airplanes, said that the 767 Freighter would allow Air Tanzania to significantly grow its existing operations. Air Tanzania's cargo customers now have a lot of options as the airline increases freight connections between Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Air Tanzania has a fleet of two 787-9 Dreamliners that it flies to destinations in Asia. The airline has orders for two more planes.
