Since the beginning of the year, Yahoo TV has been enhancing the experience by using virtual production technology. There is a line between real and virtual words. It's the easiest way to enter the metaverse. Yahoo TV virtual production is fast, easy to adjust and no need for post-production.

Yahoo believes that experience marketing is the best way to deliver its solutions. Three clients were chosen to develop further advanced and exclusive experiences. The clients would be part of the creators.

The Idea

Yahoo and Dentsu One Taipei collaborated on a campaign to create virtual events.

It focused on virtual events or press conferences for virtual production solutions. Three clients from different industries were invited to create three virtual events on the same day. The experience process would be used as a promotional video.

The Strategy

Three virtual blinddates were created. The clients didn't know anything before they started. They didn't know anything about the virtual production, but they would experience it. There was no information about what the virtual elements would be. The clients were asked to draw cards that represented different elements of an event. Yahoo had to respond in real time after they drew a card to create an exclusive virtual event. It wanted to show how fast and flexible it is.

The testimonials video was released at the Dentsu Client Day forum on August 17 and received great and positive feedback Yahoo virtual production is the leader in the industry and 98.9% of respondents would recommend it to others, according to a survey. The video was viewed by 121,000 people.
