Image Binibining Pilipinas 2023, the 59th edition of the Binibining Pilipinas pageant, will be held tonight at "the Big Dome" Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City. Forty of the country's most beautiful, graceful, and captivating Binibinis will battle it out to win the national crowns at stake — Miss Globe Philippines (for The Mis Globe 2023) and Miss International Philippines (for Miss International 2024). Witness the reigning queens Chelsea Fernandez and Nicole Borromeo crown their respective successors at the culmination of tonight's competition. Hosted by Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, Miss Grand International 2016 first runner-up Nicole Cordoves and Miss Universe Philippines 2014 Top 10 finalist Mary Jean "MJ" Lastimosa, the event will broadcast live from 8 p.m. PHT (local time) on ABS-CBN's A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and Metro Channel. Meet the 24 contestants: Image Miss Central Ohio, Mackenzie Schutt was crowned Miss Ohio USA 2023 in a state competition held on Saturday, May 20 at The Vern Riffe Center for the Arts in Portsmouth. The 27-year-old model and personal trainer from Columbus holds a degree in kinesiology and exercise science from Calvin University (formerly Calvin College) in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Mackenzie joined the pageant several times before finally winning the title. She succeeds last year's winner and Miss USA 2022 third runner-up Sir'Quora Carroll, and will now represent the state of Ohio at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada this fall. Her runners-up for the state title were finalists Emily Quinn, Macy Hudson, Katarina Putnick, Argisa Deda, and Allison Greenwood. The 24-year-old content marketing specialist and a Mizzou alumna bested 25 other competitors to win the state title. She initiated "The Flawless Movement" to "women and girls to lead a life well lived." Autumn succeeds last year's winner and Top 16 semifinalist at Miss USA 2022, Mikala McGhee, and will now prepare to represent Missouri at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada this fall. Contestant number 17   Srichchha Pradhan, a Bennington College graduate with a degree in environmental studies, was proclaimed Miss Nepal World 2023. Raina Majgaiya, a commercial pilot, clinched the title Miss Nepal Earth 2023 while Prasiddhy Shah, also an environmental studies graduate, was named Miss Nepal International 2023. They are expected to represent Nepal at Miss World 2024, Miss Earth 2023 (Vietnam), and Miss International 2023 (Japan), respectively.
