A professor said that young people shouldn't be home if they want to be successful.

The Wall Street Journal shared a TikTok video from their interview with Scott Galloway, host of The Prof G Pod.

In the clip, which was filmed at the Wall Street Journal's CEO Council Summit on 24 May, Galloway said, "You should never be at home." I tell people that. Seven hours of sleep is what home is for.

The amount of time you spend at home is related to your career and love life. You need to go somewhere else.

There was a debate in the comments section about the video. Many people said his comments were out of touch because of the number of people who now work from home.

One TikTok user said that it was not possible in this economy.

It's out of touch. Someone said it was completely.

A remote worker is married with a baby. I haven't been outside in a week.

The rising costs of living and inflation made it difficult to enjoy things outside the home.

One person said, "But outside is expensive, I'm spending every minute I can here."

Someone said that they don't pay rent to be at home. Being at home will make me feel comfortable.

There are a lot of things to do outside that don't involve burning a hole in your pocket.

One person wrote, "You guys are stupid, nothing he's saying is that crazy." Go to the park, library, plaza, street, mall, or any big space.

Go outside, take a jog, have a picnic, play soccer, hike, listen to another chime. You don't have to spend money to go out. It's a good way to make memories.

He shared the clip from his conversation with the Wall Street Journal as he explained his comments about never being home.

I agreed to it. Young people should get outside. Don't talk to strangers. Awkward, embarrassment and rejection are risk factors. He said to mingle with people of all ages. He said that being outside and talking in groups will allow for career success and friendship.

Nearly three years after the Covid-19 epidemic forced many offices to adapt to remote working, a recent study shows that about a third of workers choose to work from home all the time.

In the last three years, the number of people working from home has slowly decreased, but many people are still working from home. Forty-one percent of those with jobs that can be done remotely are doing a hybrid schedule, according to the March survey.

About a third of people who were working hybrid schedules would prefer to work from home all the time.

The cost of living in the United States has gone up in recent years. According to the Fund for the City of New York, half of working age households don't have enough money to cover basic needs.

The UK's inflation fell to 8.7 per cent in April from 10 per cent in the previous month.
