There is a future for human content- creators.

That is what many content marketers, journalists and even some artists are nervously asking themselves, as artificial intelligence and text-to- image technology explode in both quality and quantity.

Until recently, "text-to-video" was much more basic, with a lot of stock footage and stitching it together. It was not possible to conjure up startlingly-real, original videos with just a few questions.

New ground seemed to have been broken when a string of fake video ads appeared in the last few weeks. The results are a little rough around the edges.

“Really Weird”

Private Island, a production company based in London, released the first such video in April. It was supposed to be a beer ad, but it turned out to be a really funny one.

Artificial intelligence doesn't understand the mechanics of drinking a beer with friends The program didn't seem to comprehend the mechanics of drinking. They could be barbecues. Or something else. Or something else. Either way, it's laughing. See for yourself.

The nostalgic sound of Smash Mouth's "All Stars" is a nice touch. The video quickly goes into a completely different direction. One commentator said it felt like a bad acid trip.

We went from laughing in ways that aren't possible to drinking from beer cans. With an exquisite sense of timing, the Smash Mouth song starts skipping, as the BBQ throws out a column of fire that consumes the party goers.

The people have at least 12 fingers on their hands. It seems that accurately representing human beings in a video is more difficult than it sounds.

“So Creepy But I Can’t Stop Laughing”

The next day, a different artist created a fake ad for a pizza joint on social media. The artist behind the account Pizza Later said that he had wasted three hours of his life making this. Everything is powered by artificial intelligence. It was assembled in after effects. There's more information below.

The results were both frightening and funny. One person said that videos generated by artificial intelligence are like dreams and another said that they should be given a Pizza Hut commercial. Three people said that they couldn't stop laughing.

This video is arguably more disturbing than the previous one, with close ups of demonic-looking customers devouring something that kind of resembles pizza. Although admittedly they don’t have quite as many fingers as the people from the beer ad.

It's like family but with more cheese. It's definitely true.

Can videographers, video editors, and other video-related professions all feel better? It's likely for now. If the rapid evolution of related technologies is any indication, they may not have as long as they think.
