On 18 April, the last day of the year, there will be a post.

MSP Marketing

A writer talks about the business of technology.

We are looking for a writer to work from home. It will fit well around other responsibilities.

This is what it is.

There is a website called mspmarketingedge.com.

It's a marketing subscription for managed service providers.

We give the same marketing materials to our 700 members every week and month. This is used to win new clients.

The MSP Marketing Edge has been around for six years.

I don't know what I'm going to be doing.

You will be writing original content that will appeal to ordinary business owners and managers.

The content is mostly related to technology. Ordinary businesses use technology every day.

To demonstrate an understanding of how business owners and managers think, and a good awareness of what is happening in everyday business technology is required.

You will agree topics with our content editor on a weekly basis, and then write this content, meeting strict deadlines.

The week is weekly.

  • 60-second video script
  • Blog article
  • Seven days of social media content
  • LinkedIn talking points

It's monthly.

  • Educational guide
  • Promotional tools for the guide
  • 60-second video script
  • 8x educational emails
  • Printed newsletter
  • Press release

You don't need to do anything else. The production team has been around for a long time.

I want to know if there is an example of the materials you make.

Is it necessary for me to have experience?

Experience of professional journalism and familiarity with a business audience are what we want.

I don't know if I need a marketing background.

That would be a disadvantage.

Ordinary business owners and managers are the clients we want to attract.

To think like a business owner, you'll need to demonstrate it.

It would be an advantage to be able to explain technology in a simple way.

I don't know where I'm going to work.

It's in your underwear. It could be in Starbucks.

There is a remote role. Most of our team is made up of parents. There is no place to work.

It doesn't matter where you live or if you work around kids. The production schedules are fixed in stone.

During the UK working day (9am to 5pm), on a regular weekday and time, you will need to be available for a zoom call.

There is money.

A monthly fee of £1,000.
