News Corp Australia launched a video platform.

Integrated advertising and marketing products are provided to clients by this web-based platform.

The platform was announced at D_Coded, the company's fifth digital marketing event for advertising, marketing and media executives.

News Corp Australia sites include taste.com.au, Kidspot Kitchen, Body+soul, news.com.au and the company's state based and regional mastheads.

Three quarters of all video is watched on a mobile device.

There are many new commercial opportunities for advertisers to reach their audiences in context and at scale with high quality video ads.

Launching this platform was important as most audiences now consume video primarily on mobile devices, according to the managing director.

One of the first premium publishers to launch a vertical video platform is us.

We are investing in storytellers that inspire action. Advertisers will use shoppable video ads to connect brands and consumers within their video content where people don't have to leave their content to make purchases.

The shift to vertical video is due to the engagement of our content in social channels, where news.com.au has 75 million video views per month.

We are ready to give this to our audience and clients.
