Jetour de force

The person is Kap Maceda Aguila.

It is an exciting time for Philippine automotive scene as I have never seen so many brands make a mark in such a short time. This is good news for car browsers who have never been spoiled for choice.

One of the more exciting brands to climb onto the ring is Jetour. Jetour used to be a sub-brand within the ambit of Chery, but was spun-off into its own brand in the year 2000. More than 550,000 vehicles have been sold by Jetour.

Jetour has found its way to the Philippines due to the strength of a distributor group consisting of two major players. The Gateway Group and the AutoSpeedyGo Group support Jetour Auto Philippines. As it seeks to get a foothold in the industry, this is its greatest strength.

The biggest dealer group in the Philippines is the Gateway Group. In alphabetical order, it has established auto brands such as BMW, Changan, Chevrolet, Chery, Foton, Fuso, GAC, and Honda. In the country, the Gateway Group has operations in 53 major cities and provinces. The co-founding of the AutoSpeedyGo Group was done by a man with 30 years of experience in the automotive dealership business. Chery, Chevrolet, Foton, Geely, MG, and Nissan are some of the global brands that the company has 14 dealers for. President Yves Licup, Vice- President Michael Goho, Managing Director Miguelito Jose, and Marketing Director May De LosSantos are part of the management team.

JAPI invited potential dealer partners, members of the media, and content creators to a preview of its vehicles at the Okada Manila.

We were able to get behind the wheel of Jetour's offerings and take pictures. The Dashing is the main character of Jetour and it is a five-seater SUV. The Dashing costs P1.329 million and features six Sony speakers, a large 12.8-inchLED screen, a panoramic sunroof, and other features.

The seven-seater Jetour X70 is available in three trims, including the X70 Journey which comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission, 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels, and an electronic parking brake.

The most premium X70 earns a "plus" in its name. A six-speed wet DCT transmission and six-way power seats are included in the price of P 1.499 million. The aptly named Ice Cream is Jetour's electric release. It is the cheapest EV of its kind. Four people are in a vehicle with 12-inch wheels. It's flavors are equally delicious: strawberry, strawberry, strawberry, and blueberry.

Jetour vehicles and after-sales services will be made available to more people as a result of an aggressive network ramp-up. The locations of the initial eight dealership locations are in key points in the Philippines.

The brand projected that it would sell 1,500 units in its first year of operation. The warranties JAPI is prepared to give to Jetour vehicles are extended by this conviction. There will be a 10-year engine warranty and a six-year general warranty on the units.

The Manila International Auto Show will be held at the World Trade Center Metro Manila. It is possible that it will draw a lot of attention.
