- The City of Lakewood is looking for neighborhood safety specialists for the new park ambassador pilot program. The neighborhood safety specialists will be seasonally stationed from 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Madison Park and Lakewood Park, as well as "rovers" visiting Cove Park, Kauffman Park and Wagar Park. The patrols will be on foot and bike, and will be a friendly presence that can report unwanted behavior before it escalates. Lakewood Mayor Meghan George said as of Mar. 16, the city hired five of the seven parks ambassadors

- On Mar. 15, Cuyahoga County Executive Chris Ronayne unveiled the Cuyahoga County Action Plan for Homelessness, which aims to reduce homelessness by 25 percent by 2028. The county will spend $20 million to improve shelter condition, shelter capacity, and homeless services. (News 5 Cleveland)
- St. Edward High School in Lakewood won the 40th annual Ohio Center for Law-Related Education (OCLRE) Mock Trial State Championship! The St. Edward team won against more than 200 high school students representing 21 schools to bring home the gold. The teams argued a fictional court case before a panel of judges in the Thomas J. Moyer Ohio Judicial Center and the Supreme Court of Ohio. (EIN News)
