Engine Vision Media Hires Chris Gialanella as President & Publisher

The head of events has been promoted to COO.

Engine Vision Media, a Los Angeles based media company founded by renowned attorney and businessperson Mark Geragos and attorney andentrepreneur Ben Meiselas, announced these executive moves today to reinforce their commitment to investing in more staff and resources. Engine Vision Media has created 15 new positions since acquiring the publications.

Engine Vision Media has hired Chris Gialanella as President & Publisher, promoted Shelby Russell to COO & Head of Events, and launched their new LA magazine and Official Podcast.

Engine Vision Media has a number of magazines, including Los Angeles magazine, Orange Coast magazine, Pasadena magazine and So Cal Design. Gialanella worked in a number of executive positions. As publisher of "Riviera", "Modern Luxury Palm Springs" and "Interiors California" He was the group publisher for both "Angeleno" and "Los Angeles Confidential". Gialanella is in charge of all business oversight of the publications, which include editorial, sales, marketing, custom publications, production, digital, creative services, circulation, human resources, accounting, and office management. He is the ideal leader for the readers and its partners because of his experience.

Gialanella said that he had joined Engine Media Vision as president and publisher. The President and publisher of Vision Engine Media has been promoted to the COO and head of events. Los Angeles magazine, Orange Coast magazine, and Pasadena magazine were all started by Russell. He led these publications through some of the most challenging times. Vision Media's growth will be guided by his leadership skills, expertise and experience. Russell was the Senior Vice President of Marketing for the AEG. He was in charge of L.A. LIVE's marketing initiatives.
