62% of B2B Marketers Cite Content Marketing for Producing Valuable Leads

Content marketing is becoming more important to B2B marketers as they look for more efficient ways to engage prospects.

Statistics show that most B2B marketers claim that content marketing produces leads with the highestROI. The majority of respondents cited articles as the type of content that moves prospects through the funnel. Video, reviews/testimonials, and events followed.

Many B2B marketers are lagging when it comes to integrating personalization tactics. Personalization has not been implemented with content marketing tactics.

B2B Marketers Begin to Find Content Marketing Success

B2B marketers haven't unlocked the full potential of content marketing through means. They have continued to find new ways of success with their content.

According to the 13th edition of the Content Marketing Institute's "B2B Content Marketing: Benchmarks, Budgets, and Trends" report, most B2B marketers believe their organization has been moderately successful with content marketing over the last year. Approximately 25% say their business has been very successful, and 4% say they have been very successful with content marketing. Content marketing has become more important according to most B2B marketers.

The authors behind the report said it was time for organizations to finally give content marketing the investment it deserved, staff it accordingly, and reap the rewards.
