When Prime Minister Rishi Sunak visited the region a few days ago he headed straight for Teesside University.

This sector-leading establishment has invested over £275m in its campus at the heart of Middlesbrough and was a clear choice when the PM wanted to talk about goals and ambitions.

It's as popular as ever with its students, ranking 1 of 96 global universities for overall satisfaction in the International Student Barometer Survey 2021, but it looks after its staff as well - having been accredited with the Investors in People Gold status.
