There is a buzz like we haven't heard in a long time as tens of thousands of attendees flood the Fira Barcelona, Gran Via in Spain for Integrated Systems Europe. The level of energy is very high.

Just minutes before the end of Day 3, Integrated Systems Events managing director, Mike Blackman, sat down with Systems Contractor News' content director, Mark Pescatore, to discuss early numbers on ISE 2023.

The winners of the Best of Show at Integrated Systems Europe are announced.

The marketing team did a great job pushing the internal bets. In terms of the number of exhibits, we had over 1,100 in attendance. The goal team had hoped to achieve more than 1,300 exhibits at ISE 2019. "We missed a lot of Chinese companies who wanted to be here, but the lock down made it difficult for them to actually get here," he said. The largest footprint of an ISE ever was achieved with almost 57,000 net square meters of floor space.

Blackman talks about show highlights, attendance numbers, and the latest on the second and third days of the show. The busiest days are the second and third days. "It looks crowded now; you hear the buzz out there and how it's going, and it's looking great," Blackman said.

There is a new tab on the ISE's social media websites.
