Marketer Rebecca Rørmark to lead WBD

Warner Brothers Discovery promoted Rebecca Rrmark to senior vice president, head of streaming marketing for Europe, Middle East and Africa, ahead of the launch of its global platform.

Rrmark joined the Discovery Channel in Norway. The Discovery Channel and Warner Media merged in 2021.

Ahead of the launch of WBD's global streaming platform, she was promoted. It will be available in the US and Latin America later this year.

Rrmark will be tasked with heading up the evolution of the streaming brands in Europe, as well as subscriber recruitment and growth in the region through marketing.

She will be reporting to the chief marketing officer.

I'm very excited to be a part of this incredibly talented team as we work towards launching an enhanced streaming service that will deliver the best of what Discovery+ and HBO Max have to offer. According to Rrmark, consumers are looking for great content, ease and consolidation, and that's what we'll deliver with our enhanced product.

Tubi has signed a deal with WBD to broadcast 14 branded channels with over 200 titles, including all seasons of "Westworld", "Raised by Wolves", and "F Boy Island".

There are over 90 Warner Brothers films that will be included in the deal.
