GM will be featured prominently in content on the streaming service, as it does with other manufacturers. Variety reported that the Super Bowl commercial was a collaboration between GM and the streaming service. The agreement would put electric vehicles from GM and other automakers in series on the streaming service. More exposure to seeing electric vehicles in popular "binge-worthy" content will get potential customers used to seeing the vehicles being used. According to the Detroit Free Press, the partnership to promote EV will continue. The agreement isn't considered a product placement because GM isn't paying for its EV to be featured in the content, according to the company. Similar partnerships are said to exist with other manufacturers.
