The Institute has hired three new directors as part of its mission to deliver premier investment and wealth management credentials and world-class education. The new hires are Allison Edmondson, Director of Communications; Kathleen Smith, Director of Marketing; and JohnWhitham, Director of Operations. The Investments & Wealth Institute has 17,754 members in 40 countries and 50 employees.

The Institute is committed to providing the most comprehensive set of programs and services to support the needs of our members, grow our certifications and improve the knowledge of our profession to better serve individual and institutional investors. The association strives to bring in a broad and diverse set of experience and skills in order to make this a reality.
The Director of Communications is responsible for elevating the Institute's messaging and positioning to its stakeholders. He has held various marketing and communications positions at firms such as Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and US Airways. She started her career at an association. He received an undergrad degree in communications from James Madison University and a masters degree in business administration from the University of Maryland.
The value of the Institute's programs and services is promoted by Kathleen Smith. Smith was named the "rookie of the year" in 2020 by the Denver Metro area's top real estate company. Smith was the director of marketing for Xybix Systems, Inc. She graduated from the College of Saint Benedict with an undergrad degree in graphic design.
The director of operations is responsible for key organizational projects and initiatives. He worked at the American College of Financial Services for 10 years as the assistant vice president of academic planning and administration. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
"We are excited by the addition of these new team members to the Institute, as each brings a set of skills and experiences to the table, which will serve as added value to the overall efforts of our association in support of our members," said the director of human resources. New team members will be supported to get up to speed in their roles at the Institute.
