1. Nurture your posts

It takes time to create winning content. Don't forget about it once it's posted. You can engage with those who are liking or commenting on your post. You're preferred to respond to comments within the hour.

2. Engage with your network

Set a goal to engage with at least three posts from your network. The reach of your posts should increase if you do. The approach is kind of a quid-pro-quo approach.

3. Consider the length of your posts

The optimal length of your posts should be between 200 and 350 words. You might not be able to reach any posts longer than this.

4. Use tags wisely

A tag is when you put the name of an individual or company in front of it. Adding tags is a great way to encourage engagement as that person or company page admin will receive a notification that someone is talking about them and they are encouraged to either respond or comment on the post. If the person or company you have tagged doesn't engage with your post, the growth will slow.

5. The thing about ‘hashtags

The use of tags helps with discovery. As they are interested in commenting or engaging with content on a topic, LinkedIn users often search for posts that contain their preferred hashtags. It allows people who aren't connected with you to see what you have to say.

No more and no less, you should aim for between three and ten.

6. Aim to post consistently

It was noticed that it was important to post consistently after the research was done. Twice a week, that's right.

If you don't post consistently for a month, your subsequent posts won't get as much reach as they would if you did. The next four to five posts are likely to be less popular. It's important that you post content on your profile regularly.

7. The art of commenting

Don't be the first person to comment on your post as this will slow down the reach. The length of your comments should be considered as well. Half of the impact of comments that include more than twelve words is achieved by comments with less than twelve words.

9. LinkedIn is influencing your feed

In order to make your time on the platform enjoyable, they try to deliver relevant, engaging content on your feed. Similar content to you in your future news feeds will be delivered by LinkedIn, as they keep a close eye on what you are engaging with.

When you connect with a new person, LinkedIn will always post their content at the top of your feed for the next two weeks.

If you like, clap or love a post, it will be shared with you in future feeds.

10. Stay connected with your faves with comments and shares

You are 70% more likely to read the author's next post if you comment on their post. If you share someone else's post, the rate increases to 80%. If you want to stay in touch with certain people in your network, commenting on their post or sharing their post is a sure fire way to stay in touch with them.
