Chineke! is looking for a communications specialist who can do a lot of different things. You will have experience with social media, websites, and digital platforms. You need to be passionate about music and communicate with others about our mission. You will be very hands on with the training and experience you have. Candidates from all walks of life are welcome.

Essential:

On marketing experience.

There is a high standard of English.

The best practices of the main social media channels are knowledge.

A strong work ethic, ability to work autonomously, and willingness to work on Saturdays and Sundays are some of the things that make up a strong work ethic.

The cause of diversity in the arts needs to be better understood.

The person has a passion for music.

Positivity, energy and creativity!

It is possible to be flexible and learn new skills in a short period of time.

Strong IT skills and experience with website Content Management Systems are required.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for strategy, planning and delivering our marketing, PR, communications and digital work. The quality and professionalism of Chineke!'s output will be ensured by you. You will be involved in the promotion of the Chineke. The orchestra is called the Chineke. The chamber ensemble and Chineke! The Learning & Participation programme is a part of the junior orchestra. You will help us sell tickets for concerts, music sales, online viewing audiences, donors, learning participants and profile for sponsors, partners, venues and funders.

PR & Communications responsibilities:

Work with the Managing Director and other team members to refine the marketing plans.

The Chineke is being promoted. The foundation and the organisation work together with other team members.

Chineke! is working closely with a PR agency.

Content will be carried and amplified through a network of contacts.

Also responding to inquiries, as well as coordinating media interviews and feature articles.

Liaising with local promoter in London to get media coverage for Chineke!

Posters are one of the visual materials that can be used in the monthly newsletter. A group of friends.

Marketing & Digital responsibilities include:

Content for Chineke!'s website and social media accounts is managed and generated.

Developing the organisation's online presence is one of the things that can be done.

A ttending rehearsals and concerts to photograph, video and report on them for news pieces, blogs posts and press releases on occasion.

Provide timely copy, graphics, quotes, photographs, and video for the production of the venue's marketing material.

In order to promote Chineke!'s self - promoted concerts, I roducing flyers, advertisements and designing/writing/ producing programmes.

Developing and maintaining the organisation's database is one of the things that is maintained.

Terms of Employment:

Depending on experience, the salary is between 3 2,000 and 38,000 a year.

This is a full time position with an average working hour of 40 hours per week.

It's possible to work from home if you're based at the Chineke! office at Woolwich Works.

Each year of service up to a maximum of 25 days' holiday, plus statutory holidays, will rise by one day's holiday per annum.

There will be one week's notice on both sides during the six-month period of supervision. One month's notice will be given on both sides after the period of time.
