Insa, a Massachusetts-based company, has opened a cannabis dispensary in Clearwater.

Patients can get flowers and products from award-winning chefs at the dispensary.

There are three Insa stores in Florida. The company plans to open 10 in the state in the next few years.

Grill Master grills 1 million steaks

The Grill Master at LongHorn Steakhouse in Clearwater was surprised with a grand celebration for grilling 1 million steaks.

He was one of only 14 Grill Masters to be honored as a LongHorn Steakhouse Grill Master Legend.

Santos, who has served as a Grill Master for 24 years, was surprised by his restaurant team, his family and restaurant-wide leaders at an event to honor him as a Grill Master Legend. He was given a gold chef coat, a $5,000 award and a visit from the LongHorn president.

 GM cites Dimmitt for 50-year dealership

Lawrence Dimmitt III, owner of Dimmitt Chevrolet in Clearwater, was honored by General GM for 50 years of service.

Dimmitt Chevrolet was named one of the Top 100 Places to Work by automotive news.

It was named the 2015 Dealer of the Year.

Dimmitt is a board member of the Highlands-Cashiers Land Trust and is also a volunteer.

He graduated from the University of the South with a degree in economics.

He is married to a girl from his high school and they have three daughters. Lawrence IV died last year.

Ward picked as MarineMax marketing head

There is a new director of marketing for MarineMax.

Since joining MarineMax 12 years ago, Ward has worked in a variety of roles, most recently as the Marketing Operations Manager.

She was one of the 40 under 40 in the boating industry. She worked as the vice president of communications for the chapter.
