Auckland Council to discontinue OurAuckland magazine

The next issue of OurAuckland magazine will be the final one, according to the council. Content featured in the magazine and more will be available online through the OurAuckland website as the council shifts to a focus on growing its reach through digital channels.

The magazine, which has been produced in partnership with Medium Rare since July last year, has been a regular feature in the letterboxes.

The council has decided to stop producing and publishing a print edition of OurAuckland due to the challenging financial environment.

Over the past 10 years, the team at the council has achieved a lot with the magazine. The content has helped connect people to the services and events provided by the council whnau. The council has been able to deliver value for money by using advertising revenue.

The time is right to stop publishing the January-February edition of the magazine because we are committed to responding to the financial challenges ahead and contributing to reducing our costs.

The magazine is expected to save half a million dollars a year.

Medium Rare and the council will continue to work together to provide relevant, accurate and timely information about the council.

Medium Rare Managing Director Nick Smith says that the team is passionate about telling stories about Tmaki Makaurau and helping people make the most of their region.

We are looking forward to working with the council to tell those stories and connect with other people.
