For the second year in a row, Retroviral x Panther Punch have won the South African campaign of the year.

The Don't Get Swindled campaign for Checkers Sixty60 won the award at the Prisa Prism Awards. The event was held to celebrate the 25th year of the awards.
The agency won six awards. Lilets Be You won a silver medal. The SA Campaign of the Year Award was won by a period campaign. The Bronze award was given to Flow Communications for its marine protected areas day campaign.
The South African Campaign of the Year award was won last year by Panther Punch and Retroviral for their parody of the movie "My Octopus", which was produced in South Africa.
Most successful digital marketing campaign
Don't Get Swindled is the most successful Checker Sixty60 digital marketing campaign and its most popular ever. It increased traffic into the app and positively impacted sales.
Within the first week of being added to the streaming service, the campaign broke into the top 10 charts of the most watched content across 92 countries, including Sa.
Using traditional and “new” tools and platforms
An example of how a PR campaign can use traditional PR, branded content, news hijacking and digital PR is the campaign. Within 12 hours of starting the campaign, Simon Leviev spoke out against his enemies in a post that went out to all major social networks.
There was new interest in the campaign every day.
The agency said in its pitch to the awards that it had a campaign with a brave client and an agency and production company racing against the clock to own a global cultural inflexion point.

Challenger brand for the challenger brand

Big winners
Positive Dialogue and Flow Communications were among the big winners.
The company won 21 awards. Flow doesn't do work to win awards, but we are lucky enough to have had our hard work and creativity rewarded through the Prisms this year and in the past. Tara Turkington said that they are thankful every time they have the chance to work with clients.
Agency Awards
Flow Communications won gold for Large Agency of the Year in the agency awards.
Positive Dialogue won a silver and bronze medal in the Medium Agency of the Year competition.
The Friday Street Club won two awards, one for small agency of the year and one for bronze. livo & Co. Communications took bronze for their work.
The Best Upcoming PR Professional was won by Zakra Fridie. The best PR professional was won by Bonoko. Paballo Mokale and Elizabeth Ibironke won medals for their work.
Thebe Ikalafeng was the winner of the gold lifetime achievement award.
